I had to leave the island for work last weekend.

I was on the first ferry with residents allowed back on the island.

It was surreal.

These were taken at about 6:30 in the am.

I was a little out of focus, not the camera.

Spent most of yesterday in Salvo_Waves_Rodanthe.

It is a war zone up there.

Going back up there today to help clean.

People have lost everything.
