The following happened between 6 am_7am

My wife was gracious enough to let me shoot ALL day on March 11.

I shot from 6 am to 6 pm...

Needless to say I ended taking a lot of photos..

So I am going to try to show some of them in installments.

So...

Here we go...

This was first thing in the morning..

Man it was cold and we had no idea the water was in the mid 60s...

Oh yeah, K8, I owe you.

We had a pretty heavy south blow this past Thursday..

The surf ended up being really good all day Friday..

The water bumped up to the mid 60s in some spots..

I guess the warm water and wind drove them in to the beach..

There were hundreds up and down the beach..

Nasty little blue devils.

A Session w/ Seagulls

I guess seagulls are kinda cool...

I know I am gonna catch some heat from some of you out there....

But....

I am not a big fan of the surf over on the south beach...

I am not fond of the drive nor the 100 yard trough that separates the beach from the sandbar.

I have had a lot of fun surfing down there.

I have seen some really good days down there.

I guess I am jaded..

Just being honest..

These were taken this morning...

Whiteboy_Walkabout

I took advantage of the nice weather we had yesterday.

I ended up walking out to the point.

I realized on the walk out there that I haven't walked it in about fifteen years.

Man, I take this place for granted.

I decided that I was going to try to walk out there at least once every two weeks,

if not more.

Then it hit me....

I won't be able to walk out here as soon as April arrives..

The point gets shut down to all people around Easter...

Whether by foot or by truck...

STOKED....

Well at least I will be able to walk out there for a few more weeks..

Oh yeah,  almost forgot..

I met another photographer out at the point.

His name was Adam..

He had a really cool, really old film camera...

It would be neat to see the photos he got with that camera.

I miss shooting with film...

An Evening @ The Creek

If you are reading this, I hope you were able to spend a little time outdoors yesterday.

It was about as nice as it can get here in March.

The surf never really panned out like everyone was hoping for,

but you couldn't ask for better lighting.

Walter and Jackson came down and posted up for a while.

Ended up being a really nice evening to spend on the beach.
